Kayla and Michael decided to ring in the new year in the best way imaginable! Their day was absolutely epic, taking place at the Double Tree in Center City, Philadelphia. The celebratory energy throughout the day was infectious. Being around Kayla and Michael you can’t help, but smile. They are always bubbly, and truly enjoy just being around each other and the people they love.

The two met in a very unexpected way through a mutual friend’s skeeball team at Buffalo Billards. While Mike was a little more successful it didn’t change their shared enthusiasm for enjoying every moment that life brings. They met a few months later and from then on never left one another’s side.

Their first date took place at Kraftwork in Fishtown near Mike’s apartment. The two had actually been living three blocks away from one another but never met until years later at the skeeball team. They still enjoy going to trivia nights around the city, enjoying a beer at a local bar while playing megatouch, and going to any comedy show they can find! One thing certain about Kayla and Mike is that they love to laugh together, and being around one another brings them pure joy.

On January 26th Mike convinced Kayla that there was a rare pokemon that he wanted to catch on race pier. Although it was freezing Kayla decided to join him. While Mike was searching Kayla stood behind until he called her name. To her surprise when she turned around Mike was on his knee. Kayla was absolutely shocked, and couldn’t believe after all these years later that guy who lived three blocks away was going to be the man she would spend the rest of her life with. Afterwards they decided to go to the place where they had first met. Mike had one more surprise waiting for Kayla which was all their friends and family waiting for them at Buffalo Billards, the place where their story first began.
