Liz and Mike’s engagement session at Longwood Gardens was like a small taste of spring and summer in the midst of this cold winter weather. We were also blessed with gorgeous weather outside and took advantage of all the stunning blooms inside their breathtaking arboretum!

Mike and Liz decided to incorporate their love for baseball by not just bringing their jerseys, but also by bringing a custom baseball engraved with the date they got engaged! They also told us that they will be incorporate their shared passion for baseball in to their wedding day as well!

Their love for baseball truly is a staple within their relationship. In fact Mike proposed to Liz during their trip to Chicago with friends for Liz’s birthday before going on a tour of the Wrigley Field baseball stadium. Mike thought this was fitting since they met while sharing their love for baseball during the Cubs and Indians World Series, where Liz predicted in a bet that the Cubs would win. After Mike’s proposal he surprised Liz with tickets to see them play later on that day!

Mike told us that one of his favorite things about Liz, besides her amazing smile, is her love for baseball, and the way in which she can tell you the entire lineup along with everything else about the Phillies. Liz says one of her favorite things about Mike is the way in which he can turn any day in to a better day. You truly could see the joy he brings her throughout the entire session. They could not stop smiling together especially when they put their jerseys on!
