Molly and Victor’s wedding at Normandy Farms was an unforgettable, long time coming celebration. Molly and Victor began dating ten years ago in high school! Their first date was spent watching Avatar in Victors living room. Molly expressed how nervous she was, so nervous I fact that she did not want to get out of the car. Victor, however doesn’t recall feeling any nerves at all! Victor asked Molly to escort him for “Mr. South” but it wasn’t until his senior prom that they became “official”. This is just the beginning of their high-school sweetheart love story.
After years of being together, graduating highschool, having a long distance relationship for a time, and building careers of their own the two finally decided to move in together in 2018. On their first Christmas waking up together a few days after their move Victor knew this would be the perfect time to pop the question. Ofcourse if you know this sweet couple you know that they are constantly teasing one another so Victor had to plan something. He plotted with Molly’s mom who is a jeweler and quickly got the ring together. He placed a rock in a box and wrapped it while keeping the actual rock in his pocket. When Molly opened the gift on Christmas morning she had a puzzled look on her face and then looked over to Victor who proceeded to get down on one knee and said “Oh I put the wrong rock in there.” Molly was hysterical and quickly called her mother to share her excitement and to no surprise at all her mom was also crying!
When I first met Molly and Victor last spring during their engagement session one thing that was clear was that they love laughing with one another. It’s not difficult to get either one of them to smile because they simply light up around one another. It was no surprise to me when I asked them to name one of their favorite things about one another and they both responded with “that he/she is funny” They both appreciate the simple things in life like their dog, enjoying a good meal together, being outside, and most importantly enjoying being around their friends and family. It was so clear on their wedding day that being surrounded by loved ones is a huge priority to both of them.
It was such a romantic and truly marvelous day. We are so glad to have captured these memories for such a loving and happy couple. Molly and Victor your energy is truly infectious! We could not stop smiling the entire day!
