Liz and Bill had a gorgeous early fall wedding at the lovely Brandywine Manor House. Although they originally planned a June wedding their light and organic colors were perfect for a September wedding. Liz’s bouquet designed by GMK Floral Designs was filled with beautiful greenery dressed with white florals and pops of blue. One of my personal favorite memories from their day was the way they incorporated an old quaker tradition in to the ceremony. Guests had a moment to stand up and provide a blessing for the newly weds. Listening to their kind words and early memories with Liz and Bill was absolutely beautiful. Later on they had the celebration they had been waiting for and the night was filled with laughter and dancing!
Bill and Liz met prior to college graduation through mutual friends. Liz was focused on her future and graduation so she was entirely oblivious to Bills affection for her. She recalls that she thought he was interested in her roommate. Bill knew he had to move fast before they parted ways. Immediately after graduation bill not only invited Liz to his graduation party, but he also asked her to dinner with him. Liz was flooded with nerves, but luckily her mom convinced her to go! It may of poured during their first date, but their dinner and company was perfect. After their first date. They’ve been together ever since.
After dating for some years Bill decided it was time to propose. They were on Vacation in December of 2018 in St. Pete Florida. One day they decided to go to lunch at Don Cesar, a historic hotel that Elizabeth had been dying to visit. When they went outside to tour the pool area and ventured on to the beach Bill asked to take a picture with the hotel in the background. As his brother went to set them up for the photo Liz stepped on something sharp that almost ruined the moment, but they continued on. When she turned around to pose she saw will on one knee asking her to be his forever. She says they both teared up a bit and that she was completely taken by surprise!
