THE WEDDING DAY

Courtney and Chris’s wedding at the Cairnwood Estate was full of endless emotion and captivating details that put a modern twist on a charming historic estate. Courtney’s love for greenery, simplistic and classic taste with a touch of modern flair shined throughout every essence of their day. Her white florals by Fleur De Lis Floral brought her vision to life and she wore a contemporary gown made by Sarah Seven dressed with a stunning cathedral veil.

When I first met Courtney and Chris she expressed that Chris actually chose their venue! This grabbed my attention because it was certainly not the usual answer I hear! She told me that years ago he had worked for Cairnwood and was still so taken by it’s grand beauty that is truly in a league of its own. When he brought it to her attention that they should tour the Cairnwood she went out on a leap of faith and decided to give it a try. His taste and input in their wedding style blew her away and she knew it was meant to be the moment she walked in the door!

These two are the kind of personalities that make anyone feel comfortable, which is why it came as no surprise that their bridal party was one of the largest I have seen to date. Every single person in their party had such a deep connection with them. It was so touching to see the complexity and genuine relationships they had with each guest at their wedding. When their best man and maid of honor spoke about them there wasn’t a dry eye in the house and a laugh unheard. Family and friends were at the hearts center of their day and it was truly something to behold! I couldn’t be happier for these two and their day came together seamlessly!
