I’m not going to lie, one of the best feelings is having my couples trust me completely with their vision. Whether it be their wedding day or engagement photos, I treat it all the same. In this case, we’re talking about Danielle and Dan’s Lincoln Memorial engagement photos in Washington DC. Known as the nation’s capital, this beautiful engagement session with Danielle and Dan was one that was filled with so much elegance and romance. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps all over again!

Danielle & Dan’s Lincoln Memorial Engagement Photos in Washington DC

For this engagement session, I made my way over to Washington DC. What was most important for Danielle and Dan’s engagement photos, was to really show off the romance. We wanted things to look romantic, classic, and timeless, and what better way than in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S.?

It was a beautiful Fall day. The trees were covered with burnt orange and red leaves and the air was crisp. We first started off by the Potomac River as we admire the Washington Monument behind us. Danielle wore this stunning high-neck, long-sleeved dress that flowed beautifully around her. Beside her, Danielle held a bouquet of pink florals which was a soft and romantic touch to her engagement attire. While Dan wore a navy blue suit which was the perfect pop of color on this breathtaking Fall day. They moved swiftly in front of the camera as if it were second nature to them.

Shortly after, we made our way to the Lincoln Memorial where the views were just… well, you can see for yourself. I swear every time I come here I feel more and more starstruck as if it were the first time. The Lincoln Memorial includes stunning views of the reflecting pool that lies beneath the Washington Monument. Throughout their engagement session, it was evident how much Danielle and Dan love each other. The connection and the way they moved so effortlessly with each other was just the icing on top of an absolutely stunning engagement session.
