Some of the sweetest love stories happen at the most unexpected of times. For Caterina and James, the beginning of their story started back in high school where they first met. It was during their younger years that they met and dated, but alas it wasn’t their time just yet. Over the years they kept in touch and reconnected and now have been together for 7+ years. Not only did I get the absolute honor of shooting Caterina and James’ elegant Fall wedding at the Hamilton Farm Golf Club, but we also had the opportunity to photograph her brother and sister-in-law’s wedding back in 2022! It felt like such a full-circle moment to be able to come back and document Caterina and James’ wedding day. Their entire wedding day was breathtaking and I can just say this… photos don’t lie!
The Hamilton Farm Golf Club was first established as an English country estate in 1911. Its main vision embodies sophistication and elegance. Even after over 100 years since it’s been built, the Hamilton Farm Golf Club still holds those same values. The Hamilton Farm Golf Club has been hosting New Jersey weddings since 1927 and has continued to uphold its luxurious experience and reputation. Their mission surrounds the idea that every couple gets a quality and elegant experience for their wedding day. With an attentive staff, a beautiful estate to explore for photo opportunities, and an on-site culinary team, the Hamilton Farm Golf Club is an obvious choice.
This New Jersey wedding venue is best for couples who are looking to have a bit larger wedding guest list. Their max guest capacity is at 300 guests and their minimum guest capacity is at 75 guests. While the Hamilton Farm Golf Club is not the most ideal NJ wedding venue for intimate weddings, if you’re planning on partying up with a lot of your guests, then the Hamilton Farm Golf Club may be your perfect NJ wedding venue. Hamilton Farm Golf Club also offers couples wanting a Hamilton Farm Golf Club wedding overnight accommodations. Making not only them but their guests, feel welcome to celebrate your love at the Hamilton Farm Golf Club.
Along with the several different event site options available for your Hamilton Farm Golf Club wedding, this NJ wedding venue offers several other amenities to help create your dream wedding experience.
We fell in love with the Hamilton Farm Golf Club the minute we laid eyes on it. They were able to create such a memorable experience for Caterina and James, making it top on our list for New Jersey wedding venues. Before photographing a wedding day, it’s important to me as their wedding photographer that I can gauge an overall vision. Immediately, as soon as I received the full Pinterest board for Caterina and James’ wedding, I was hooked. Light peaches/pinks, olive greens, yellows, and light blues draped across their entire vision board. It was a very light color palette, but seeing as their wedding was at the beginning of the Fall season, tying in the olive green was the perfect pairing.
Caterina and James wanted their wedding day to embody an elegant and vintage-type feel. Despite them getting married at a golf club, they were able to tie in beautiful detailing and florals that brought that vintage-elegant feel to life. Breathtaking floral pieces and bouquets by J&M Home and Garden were the perfect pops of color. Bridesmaids wore satin olive green dresses from Birdy Grey which looked stunning on every member of the wedding party.
This morning we spent with Caterina and her bridesmaids getting ready at Caterina’s parents’ home. Opting out of a first look, we waited with anticipation as we drove to Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary for their indoor church ceremony. Tears were flowing as we watched Caterina and James divulge in a traditional wedding ceremony in front of friends and family.
Shortly after the ceremony, we made our way to the Hamilton Farm Golf Club where it was photo time!! On this day, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was beaming and we had lots of room to get creative on the estate property. Their reception space was beautiful and clean-cut with tons of natural light and a minimalistic and elegant approach to their table decor. It embodied that vintage-elegant feel that Caterina and James always wanted and we loved every minute of it.
