The Ryland Inn is one of my all-time favorite New Jersey wedding venues. This historic estate brings together modern touches for that perfect unique blend for your wedding day. For Katie and Taylor, it was the perfect wedding venue to tie the knot and celebrate their love. The Ryland Inn wedding at The Chadwick Cottage in Northern NJ with Katie and Taylor was surrounded by tones of desert rose and green. It was the perfect pairing for a fabulous Fall wedding day and don’t worry, we got all the deets.
The Ryland Inn is a romantic equestrian estate that is the epitome of luxe. Built in 1796, The Ryland Inn has been reimagined from its original design of a country home/stagecoach stop to a fabulous New Jersey wedding venue. The Ryland Inn offers exposed wood beams, breathtaking chandeliers and delectable cuisine. Making this only some of the many reasons why couples choose to have a wedding at this New Jersey wedding venue.
This 220 year old estate offers everything that you could need for your Ryland Inn wedding. With plenty of different event site options, The Ryland Inn can accommodate up to 250 guests. Making it the perfect New Jersey wedding venue for both large or small wedding sizes. The Ryland Inn provides unique interior design, which is perfect if you’re wanting something classic with a more lived-in look. If you plan on having a lot of out-of-town guests for your wedding, then luckily this New Jersey wedding venue can accommodate them as well. Katie and Taylor met six years ago through a mutual friend while in Hoboken, NJ. Having lived in New Jersey for quite some time, it only made sense for them to share their special day in the place where it all began. On their wedding day, it started with that crisp Fall weather. The leaves began to change and dare I say, magic was in the air? The overarching theme of the day was a more rustic/romantic approach. Tones of rosewood, desert rose, greenery and ivory consumed the perfectly designed bouquets and decor thanks to Jardiniere Fine Flowers.
Like any wedding day, I always tell my couples to spend that time with your friends & family, soaking it all in. It can go by fast, so drinking some champagne and reliving special memories is key to a peaceful and soothing wedding day morning. So that’s exactly what we did. Katie changed into her Justin Alexander dress that made her look like an ACTUAL goddess. I was/clearly am obsessed.
Katie and Taylor opted out of a first look to really build the anticipation until their ceremony. We made our way to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church where they embarked in a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony. From there we made our way to The Ryland Inn where I think we can all say we were blown away. The Grand Ballroom Space at The Ryland Inn was decked to the nine’s, with candles and greenery galore. The feature stone fireplace in The Grand Ballroom also makes for a stunning focal point for their reception. Of course, while we waited for guests to arrive we seized this opportunity to take some portraits of the newlyweds and wedding party throughout the property. Following portraits, it was party time! Traditional cake cutting moments, first dances and speeches comprised their wedding reception and made for the perfect ending of their wedding day.
Katie and Taylor wanted their wedding day to be romantic, easy and happy. Luckily, I think all three things were achieved gracefully and swiftly to have the most romantic Fall wedding at The Ryland Inn.
