With their wedding day planned at the historic Glen Foerd on the Delaware in May 2026, this session was the perfect prelude to their celebration ahead.

A PHILADELPHIA ENGAGEMENT: HOW THEY MET AND FELL IN LOVE

These two first connected on Hinge in 2021 when Thom messaged Erin about mashed potatoes, a lighthearted start to a relationship that quickly grew into something lasting. Their first date at Harper’s Garden in Philadelphia set the tone for countless adventures to come, from nights in with takeout and TV to cheering Thom on at marathon races across the country.

THE PROPOSAL IN PORTUGAL: A ROMANTIC MOMENT ABROAD

In the summer of 2024, Thom planned the most romantic proposal during their trip to Portugal. On a sunset hike in Madeira, with a photographer hidden nearby, he asked Erin to marry him. Both of them shed happy tears before celebrating with champagne at a nearby resort, a memory they’ll treasure forever.

We met in Old City, one of Philadelphia’s most iconic neighborhoods, to document their love story. We began at the Merchants Exchange Building, where the timeless architecture paired beautifully with Erin’s elegant ivory dress and Thom’s tan suit. From there, we wandered into the 18th Century Gardens, surrounded by lush spring greenery, before ending at the Second Bank Building, a spot that reflected their love of both history and city life.

Their vision includes a floral-forward design with vibrant, colorful blooms to complement the spring season. They’re planning an outdoor ceremony (weather permitting!) and a tented reception under fairy lights, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

When asked what they love most about each other, Thom shared how much he admires Erin’s caring, thoughtful nature and sense of humor, while Erin loves Thom’s hard work, goofiness, and how deeply he cares for those around him.
