I’m a Philadelphia wedding photographer and I have seen a lot of beautiful wedding venues. However, one in particular that stands out time and time again is this Parque Ridley Creek wedding with Joleen and Brian. This stunning day was unlike any other. With so much attention to detail and beautiful decor and tones, it was an absolutely breathtaking day.
Parque Ridley Creek is a beautiful Pennsylvania wedding venue in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. This gorgeous wedding venue actually sits inside Pennsylvania’s beautiful Ridley Creek State Park. It’s an English Tudor-style property with stunning grounds to give you that very luxurious look. It’s a stone mansion built with formal gardens, fountains, patios, and an elegant ballroom. All sitting on the 2600-acre of Ridley Creek State Park. Its design surrounds the idea of being the ultimate wedding getaway. Just 45 minutes from Philadelphia and 30 minutes from the airport, this is a prime wedding location.
On top of being an absolutely stunning Pennsylvania wedding venue on its own, there is another reason why Joleen and Brian chose to have a Parque Ridley Creek wedding. Growing up, Brian’s grandfather would take him to Ridley Creek State Park to hike and fish. While Brian’s grandfather has passed, they spent every day with him and his brother growing up there. It was the perfect way to honor his grandfather’s memory and add that much more intention to such a special moment for them.

For Joleen and Brian, their main focus was have their wedding day be romantic, loving and a huge celebration. Safe to say, that it totally was. Joleen and Brian’s Parque Ridley Creek wedding was romantic and elegant. Their wedding day was surrounded by hues of french/dusty blue, golden accents and white cream. To counter balance this, their florals consisted of blush tones which really emphasized the soft and romantic look that they were going for.
One thing about this wedding was how much intention and planning went into every aspect. From writing their own special vows, to sharing their first dance to First Date by Taylor Acorn it was just beautiful. Joleen and Brian even had cold sparks to help start the night off with a bang. After a beautiful ceremony and day celebrating the newlyweds, I snuck off Joleen and Brian for some final night portraits. Joleen had done a quick outfit change into her reception dress, in which she looked absolutely divine. We used these final moments before I headed out for the night to reflect and celebrate all of the things they have accomplished and the amazing journey they would be embarking on in the future.
To put it short, it was the perfect ending to their wedding day.
Huge thank you to all of the amazing vendors who came together to work together for this beautiful Parque Ridley Creek wedding.
