Allison and Ryan’s Wedding at Normandy Farm Hotel was nothing short of breathtaking. I first met Allison and Ryan when I captured their engagement session in Center City, Philadelphia. Allie showed up with a beautiful gown and flower crown to match so I knew right then that their wedding would be stunning.
The two of them met on an online dating app called bumble. Once they met they found out that they actually worked right across the street from one another and that they both stopped at the same coffee shop every morning! However, it was not until they met on the app that they found themselves constantly running into one another crossing the same paths. They shared their first date at Mission Taquaria in Center City. Allie had to leave early for a work event and to this day Ryan believes she was trying to get out of the date early! Luckily that was not the case.
After dating for some time Ryan planned the perfect proposal. (No seriously, it was perfect, just you wait…) The two had taken a vacation to San Diego. One evening they went to a place called Sunset Cliffs. Ryan had planned to propose just as the sun was setting. Allie kept insisting on taking a picture, and she thought it was strange that Ryan wanted to wait until “the perfect sunset.” Finally, Allie took matters into her own hands and handed the camera off to a stranger to take their picture. Just as she did Ryan got down on one knee and popped the question!
