Rustic elegance meets a Tuscany, Italy-type feel. That’s exactly how we would describe this Rustic Perona Farms Wedding in Andover, NJ with Carly and Jeremie. These two lovebirds wanted their wedding day to represent a warm, rustic elegance while still maintaining that rustic farmhouse feel of their wedding venue, Perona Farms. New Jersey has been home to Carly and Jeremie for a while now and it only seemed right to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by friends and family in the state where their love flourished.

An important factor when it comes to choosing your wedding venue is cost. For Perona Farms, you’ll pay a higher price point during peak busy season than off-peak season. Upon looking at Perona Farms it may seem like your run-of-the-mill rustic barn wedding venue. However, it has so much more character than that! Their modern amenities and unique aesthetic help couples build the wedding of their dreams. Exactly what happened with Carly and Jeremie on their wedding day. The overarching theme of Carly and Jeremie’s wedding consisted of shades of terracotta, mustard yellow, burnt orange, soft peaches, and sage. Fitting for the very Italian/Tuscan feel that they were looking for. Huge shoutout to Blue Jasmine Floral for making the ultimate statement in these tones throughout their wedding florals/bouquets and centerpieces!
One thing about Carly and Jeremie’s wedding day was how much attention to detail and intention went into every bit of their day. Carly wore this beautiful dress by Angel Rivera Couture & Justin Alexander paired with Jeremie’s aunt’s earrings. She paired all of that with a pinky ring from her mom and a garter and hanky that was her grandma’s. Each of these little bits of her family’s heirlooms helped make her wedding day that much more special.
As for the ceremony, Jeremie and Carly participated in a traditional Jewish ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, the soon-to-be newlyweds signed the ketubah (the Jewish marriage contract). Carly walked down the aisle to her best friends singing and playing the guitar. She looked absolutely stunning! It was then used during the ceremony as they both stood under the chuppah with the ketubah and kiddish cup. Sharing this moment with the both of them was incredibly special and getting to witness all of the Jewish traditions incorporated into the ceremony was an incredible moment.
After portraits and a brief cocktail hour, the reception space was open to guests. However, before any guests saw this beautiful space, Carly and Jeremie had a room reveal of their reception space and it was amazing. Highly recommend it if you want a bit more privacy and intimacy on your wedding day! A live saxophonist, drummer, and electric guitarist joined the party which made things a lot more fun on the dance floor. Carly even surprised Jeremie with a coordinated performance where his friends who used to have a band in high school performed. To finish off the night, guests lifted Carly and Jeremie into the air for a traditional Hora dance. A rather lively way to end their wedding day that I think sent off the night perfectly!
