After drawing for quite some time, the artist flipped his sketchbook. It showed Emile proposing to Chantel with the words “Will you marry me?”. From that point on, their wedding planning journey began and I had the honor of documenting this Romantic Garden wedding at Appleford Estate for them. Bright vibrant florals took center stage for this romantic garden-inspired wedding theme and I fell in love with every bit of it.

Chantel + Emile’s Romantic Garden Wedding at The Appleford Estate

Every single detail of this wedding day was made for Chantel and Emile. Upon reading their inquiry and overarching theme for their wedding day, I knew that The Appleford Estate was the perfect wedding venue to help bring their vision to reality. A heavy emphasis on their florals was a huge priority when it came to their wedding decor. Chantel and Emile wanted to focus on creating a romantic garden wedding theme. Which I think was perfectly executed. Shades of pink with pops of bright pink/fuchsia, thanks to Amaranth Florist, brought everything to life.

With so much space throughout the entirety of the estate, it was easy to bring their wedding day to life. Chantel and Emile had a private moment in the gardens of the estate where they exchanged wedding day cards and vows. A sweet and intimate time just for the two of them that I always encourage my couples to participate in on such a busy, crazy hectic, and exciting day such as your wedding.

Their ceremony was in a gorgeous outdoor space surrounded by vibrant lush trees and a bright floral archway that stood waiting for them. Friends and family gathered around them to watch Chantel and Emile profess their lifelong love to one another. Shortly after, the reception space transformed and guests began piling in. Chantel and Emile made their grand entrance as husband and wife and it was uphill from there! A choreographed first dance between Chantel and her dad along with a romantic first dance between Chantel and Emile was the perfect start to the night. We even stole the newlyweds for a few night portraits to soak in the last bit of a day filled with so much joy and love.
