Kelli + James’ Dreamy Fall Glen Foerd Mansion Wedding

Fall is arguably one of the best seasons to get married. Not only do you have basically perfect weather, but the foliage and colors are just *chef’s kiss*. Since Glen Foerd is equally beautiful outside as it is inside, that means outdoor wedding portraits were going to be STUNNING. Look at me though, getting ahead of myself. The early morning of your wedding is a special one. Champagne toasts with your girls, drinks with the boys and everything to get you geared up for the day ahead.

Kelli, after spending much time celebrating slipped into her Rita Vinieris dress which was a jaw-dropper. A lace high-neckline ball gown that amped up the elegance and drama and really made for that fairytale-esque type of wedding look. The getting-ready space inside the Glen Foerd Estate was exquisite with beautiful natural lighting. Thus making it the perfect place to take getting-ready portraits along with a first-look moment with her bridesmaids.

First Looks, Fall Wedding Portraits + An Irish Ring Warming Ceremony

Following her first look with her bridesmaids, she also surprised her dad with one and a small wedding gift. Ugh, these moments always get me. We met up with James who was waiting for us outside for their first look along with a private love letter exchange between the soon-to-be newlyweds. Now, while every part of a wedding day is fun for me as a Philadelphia Wedding Photographer, I’m always favorable to portraits. Hues of red, orange, and yellow covered the trees and reflected beautifully off of Kelli and James’ classic and dreamy wedding dress and tuxedo. Bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses with shades of silvery blue. Emphasizing the more light and modern wedding theme that they were going for.

Before we knew it, we were watching Kelli and James walk down the aisle. Kelli and James incorporated a warming of the rings as a part of their wedding ceremony. An Irish tradition where the rings are passed around to each guest while the ceremony goes on for them to pray/say well wishes. I love it when couples incorporate sweet traditions like this into their ceremony to make it a bit more intimate and unique!

Riverfront Cocktail Hour + Reception at the Glen Foerd Mansion

Along the riverfront, an outdoor tent was set up for cocktail hour and reception. We captured stunning details of the floral displays by Kayla Boileau and the elegant and simple wedding table decor. Together these two made their grand entrance and welcomed their guests. After speeches, we hit the dance floor and of course, had a fun little cake-cutting moment. I even got to steal Kelli and James away for some night photos that I say, turned out smashingly. The perfect way to end their dreamy Fall wedding at The Glen Foerd Mansion, don’t you think?
