There is something truly timeless about a black and white wedding. When Paige and Stephen chose this classic palette, they weren’t just picking colors. They were setting the tone for an entire day built on elegance and love. As their wedding photographer, I had the honor of capturing every moment of their Renault Winery New Jersey wedding. Honestly, it is one of the most stunning celebrations we have ever documented.
Renault Winery is one of New Jersey’s most beloved wedding venues. It sits in Egg Harbor City, right in the heart of the Garden State. Founded in 1864, the property holds over 160 years of history. That history shows in every stone archway, every barrel-lined hall, and every sun-soaked vineyard row. For couples who want rustic charm and refined beauty, a Renault Winery New Jersey wedding simply delivers.
I have photographed many weddings here over the years. In fact, you can see one of our earliest Renault love stories in this 2022 Renault Winery wedding blog post. Additionally, we were thrilled to have one of our Renault weddings featured on Wedding Chicks. Each wedding here feels entirely its own and yet the venue always shines.
The grounds offer multiple event spaces. There are cozy indoor rooms as well as open outdoor areas lined with working vineyards. In August, those vineyards are lush and full. Furthermore, the golden afternoon light through the vines is the kind of light every photographer dreams about.
Beyond its beauty, Renault is also known for its warm hospitality. The team there treats each wedding like it is the only one. As a result, couples consistently love hosting their day on the property. Renault stands at the top of our list for good reason.
From the moment we met Paige and Stephen, their vision was clear. They wanted classic. Timeless, too. The kind of wedding that looks just as stunning in photos fifty years from now. Therefore, black and white was not just a color choice, it was a statement.
The florals by Michael William Florist brought that vision to life. White blooms and rich green foliage filled the ceremony and reception spaces. The result was fresh and luxurious without straying from the refined palette. Specifically, the work felt both lush and restrained — a balance that is hard to pull off and speaks to real skill.
The morning of the wedding, Paige was surrounded by her people. Hair by Your Day Your Way and makeup by The Lost Garden NJ made her absolutely radiant. Glowing, confident, and joyful — she was exactly the kind of bride that makes a photographer’s job feel easy. Her gown, from The Dressing Room – St. Pete, was elegant in structure and romantic in detail.
Her bridesmaids wore gowns from Azazie Bridal, which tied beautifully into the palette. In addition, the styling was cohesive without feeling forced. Each person looked like themselves, just elevated. That authenticity is what makes getting-ready images feel real and emotional rather than staged.
The ceremony unfolded with the same quiet elegance that defined every choice Paige and Stephen had made. Live music by Alexandr Kislitsyn set a deeply moving tone. It was the kind of music that makes guests stop talking and truly feel the moment. Consequently, as Paige walked down the aisle, the music, florals, and late afternoon light came together in a way we will not forget.
Their officiant, Alexis, led a ceremony that was heartfelt and personal. The vows were not generic. Instead, they were specific and vulnerable — the kind of words that only come from two people who truly know one another. Moreover, the tears on both sides of the aisle said it all.
If the ceremony was their quiet declaration, the reception was their full celebration. Posh DJs kept the dance floor alive from the first song to the last. Their ability to read a crowd is genuinely impressive. Not a single song felt off. From the first dance to the high-energy group numbers, the music was spot on all night.
One of the most memorable moments? The arrival of Joey Cannoli. If you have never had a cannoli station at a wedding, you are truly missing out. Guests loved it. The joy on people’s faces was a real highlight of the evening. Above all, it was the kind of personal touch that makes a reception feel uniquely theirs.
The evening was also captured on video by JK Rose. Their work means Paige and Stephen will relive this day for the rest of their lives. Furthermore, having a great videographer alongside us always deepens the final experience for the couple — two lenses telling the same love story.
I want to speak directly to couples who are thinking about an August Renault Winery New Jersey wedding. The timing truly matters. August evenings here offer golden hour light that other months simply cannot match. The vineyards are full and green. The warm amber tones of late summer light look beautiful against the stone of the venue.
For sunset portraits, we typically step away from the reception for about twenty minutes around dinner. As a result, couples always tell us those vineyard shots are among their favorites from the whole day. The Renault grounds at golden hour are, quite simply, magical.
I also love shooting fall weddings here — similarly beautiful, just in a different way. For example, you can see the warm tones and rich textures in our fall Renault Winery wedding with Kassandra and Michael. Additionally, our garden party Renault Winery wedding shows just how versatile this venue can be across styles and seasons. We were also honored to have our Renault work featured on Style Me Pretty — a publication I love and admire.
