Raquel and Sean’s engagement session started off right where it all began for them at Bourbon and Blue. Later on the session continued to Fairmount Water Works one of Raquel’s favorite venues in the city. We were even joined by their adorable dogs Keeva and their newest addition Cora! They couldn’t help but keep Raquel and Sean laughing as they tangled each other in the leashes and made their session even that much more exciting! Later on we were blessed with the most romantic sunset at Water Works.

Their Love Story

Sean and Raquel met on Christmas night when her friend joined her at a family and friends party at Bourbon and Blue and asked if he could bring Sean. However, Raquel didn’t make it easy for Sean to take her on a date after that evening. Sean had asked her twice on a date and both times she said no until as she says “she didn’t”. After she agreed to let Sean take her on a date they decided to go to a bar in Manayunk and had so much fun that they continued to hop to different bars that same night! To this day they still enjoy going to their favorite restaurants in Manayunk and their favorite place to go on a date is Bourbon and Blue where their story truly began.

Sean decided to ask Raquel to Marry him on February 10,2019. He knew he had to make it extra special so he decided to surprise her not just once, but twice! He first told Raquel that they were going to meet her new nephew at her dads restaurant and when she walked in all of her family was there. Then after the proposal Sean brought her to Bourbon and Blue where all of her friends were just waiting to celebrate with the two of them!

Raquel and Sean both care deeply about their families and friends. Being together and cherishing the memories that mean the most with the ones they love is what’s most important to them. They cannot wait to celebrate their marriage with all of their guests at Adelphia next July!

We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of Raquel and Sean’s special day! When I first met Raquel it felt like I was meeting with a friend! We connected instantly and I loved hearing about all of her big plans! We kept in touch as she looked at different venues and once she found a date we were officially apart of their big day! We know after spending an evening with these two that their wedding is going to be a celebration to remember and we cannot wait to capture their wedding day next July!
