Courtney + Derek’s New Jersey Wedding at Spring Lake Golf Club

It was a breath-taking Summer day as we packed up our bags to head to Spring Lake, New Jersey to capture Courtney and Derek’s wedding day. That morning we arrived at Courtney’s family’s lake house that sits right on the water. Here is where Courtney and her bridesmaids would spend the morning of the wedding getting ready. Their wedding surrounded a very traditional theme with shades of blush pink and white. Keeping these minimalistic and modern tones made for a heart-stopping wedding experience that I just about died over. We spent that morning watching the girls get prim and proper and Courtney transform into a radiating bride. Before leaving for the venue, Courtney chose to have a first look with her dad which had us all in tears.

We arrived at the Spring Lake Golf Club where Courtney and Derek would meet for their first look. Surrounded by acres of open land, we watched the rest of their love story unfold. As I mentioned, Spring Lake Golf Club gives you plenty of photo opportunities through the property. Making it very easy to capture such beautiful moments between the soon-to-be newlyweds. It wouldn’t be long until guests trickled in for a heart-stopping outdoor ceremony.

Following the ceremony, we made it inside to the reception space. Decked out with floor-to-ceiling windows, natural light beamed in lighting up the entire space. Their tables Guests began flooding in as we awaited the newlyweds to make their grand entrance. All of the anticipation leading up to the wedding day had finally died down, leaving us with all of the time in the world to dance, eat good food, and celebrate Mr. and Mrs. DeSotle!
