Sunnybrook Ballroom Wedding Rebecca + Jerry

THE WEDDING DAY

Rebecca and Jerry chose the gorgeous Sunnybrook Ballroom to celebrate their romantic fall wedding. Though they originally planned to make their vows to one another in May the classic colors Rebecca chose were perfect for any season. Rebecca got ready in her beautiful childhood home and Jerry was able to celebrate with his groomsmen at their apartment earlier on in the day. As the moment they most anticipated arrived they were both anxious to see each other, but couldn’t be more relaxed at the same time. As Rebecca walked down the aisle their joy was written all over their faces, but nothing could top the moment they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Moyer.

THEIR LOVE STORY

Jerry and Rebecca first met one another at a family friends Halloween party. After Jerry had a long conversation with Rebeccas father she received a clear “jokingly” warning to “stay away from Jerry. They spent some time getting to know each other that evening, but that wasn’t the moment that would be remembered as the one where they fell for each other. Two years later when Rebecca returned from her first semester of college they re-connected and from that moment on there wasn’t any stopping them from falling hard and fast for each other. Their first date was spent at a driving range where they had a bet on how far Rebecca could hit the ball. They immediately became acquainted with one another’s competitive nature and from that day on would continue to challenge each other. Five years later during a winter weekend spent in their favorite place, New York City, Jerry knew it was time to pop the question.

That evening they walked around Bryant Park, which is one of their favorite places to be in the city. Later on they enjoyed a romantic dinner and some incredible drinks all the while getting to stare at the magnificent Empire State Building. On this particular night the Empire State building was lit up green which they were both convinced was a sign for the Eagles since they were in their second round of the play offs that night. As they went to take a picture with the skyline Jerry managed to set his phone to video and get down on one knee. As Rebecca was over joyed, in shock, and cold she said yes. All the while trying to get her gloves off to put on the ring! During their ride home in a classic New York City taxi they face-timed their families to share their incredible news and joy. Rebecca says they were both “floating on air the rest of the night”

Dear Rebecca and Jerry

From the moment I met you both, to the engagement session, through the heartbreak of postponing, and your wedding day you always trusted me and amazed me with how at ease you were. Your love is so easy to capture because you truly just light up when you’re around each other and it is clear that you love to have fun together! I wish you a lifetime of competing with each other, romantic dinners in the city, sunsets on the beach, and most importantly endless cuddles together accompanied by your beloved cat Sadie. Thank you for letting me capture your love story, for all of your kind words, and the amazing dance moves you let me capture (your nephew had me laughing the entire time!)
