Some weddings are permanently engrained in your brain. The details, decor, the couple… pretty much everything comes together to make it so perfect you can’t forget about it. From the moment Mary and Anthony inquired with MTA back in January of 2023, I knew it was going to be an absolute dream. Fast forward over a year later and we documented Mary and Anthony’s Spring wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. Hues of sage, cream, blush, and hints of yellow flooded their color palette making for the most dreamy wedding day.
The Estate at Florentine Gardens is one of New Jersey’s top-rated wedding venues… and with good reason. Situated in River Vale, New Jersey, The Estate at Florentine Gardens boasts a large Georgia-style estate as the main focal point of this property. With both ballrooms and gardens on the estate, it is the perfect New Jersey wedding venue to get the best of both worlds. MTA is no stranger to the stunning beauty of The Estate at Florentine Gardens. So much so, that we recently were featured in New Jersey Bride for one of our most recent winter weddings! You can read all about that here. This may come off as a bit biased because of this, but truly, The Estate at Florentine Gardens is a perfect option for any couple’s New Jersey wedding.
When it comes to this gorgeous New Jersey wedding venue, there are many reasons why couples choose to tie the knot here. One of the many reasons is its expansive size. Making it the perfect wedding space if you’re planning on having a large number of guests. With a guest capacity of up to 350, The Estate at Florentine Gardens is well equipped with space to host even the largest of wedding sizes.
Second, this New Jersey wedding venue offers a wide array of amenities included in their wedding collections. More on that coming soon, but some of those amenities including an on-site dressing area and handicap accessibility make it an easy choice for many couples. Choosing a wedding venue that offers certain wedding amenities you may need could be a make or break in the wedding decision process. Which is huge and something you need to take into consideration when picking a wedding venue.
Lastly, it is a family-operated business. Rather than being owned by a large corporation, The Estate at Florentine Gardens is family making it a huge bonus for many couples. If you want to support local families and businesses and have a more intimate feel with the owners of your wedding venue, this could be a huge factor in making your venue decision.
As mentioned previously, one of the many reasons any couple chooses their wedding venue is due to the amenities included in their wedding collections. With the cost of things nowadays, most couples want the most bang for their buck. Meaning they want their wedding venue to provide the most they can for the money that they are spending. Which frankly, is a completely reasonable request! Thankfully, The Estate at Florentine Gardens offers quite a selection of wedding amenities for couples to enjoy during their special day. Some of those are:
It was apparent ever since our first interaction, that Mary and Anthony’s vision was nothing short of breathtaking. An elegant and modern style wedding with sage, cream, and blush tones trickled in throughout their decor and florals. Making it a gorgeous Spring wedding color palette that was to die for. On this particular day, it was overcast, which to some may not have been ideal. However, from a Philadelphia Wedding Photographer, take it from me… this is perfect for photos. The morning was spent getting ready at the provided on-site getting ready suites at the venue. Following that we watched an overwhelming amount of emotions flood Anthony’s face as he got to see his beautiful bride-to-be during their first look. An emotional moment indeed and incredibly special to document.
Prior to the ceremony, we took this time to capture portraits of the soon-to-be newlyweds. Moving swiftly in front of the camera, Mary and Anthony knew what they were doing… and they were doing it well. Guest slowly trickled in as the ceremony was about to begin shortly. In the gorgeous indoor ceremony space, Mary and Anthony said their vows. They incorporated a wine ceremony tradition, representing the blend of two families into one. Both sets of parents blessed the rings before sealing their love with their first kiss as husband and wife.
Walking into the reception, it was hard not to audibly gasp at how beautifully curated everything was. With the help of Lush Fleuriste, the tables were designed to perfection with stunning floral centerpieces. Guests danced to Sal Travis Entertainment, a 10-piece band that made the dance floor active and joyous. Mary and Anthony shared their first dance to Joy of My Life by Chris Stapelton and soaked up these moments with all of their guests. 1 year ago it was just a plan but on this day, it became reality.
